Do you take insurance?

Yes! We are Medicare providers and in network with many Carefirst BCBS plans. We always verify insurance before starting services, so if there is an out of pocket or deductible expense, you will know prior to beginning with us.


Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Under most circumstances we do require a referral from a provider; however, if you self-refer (meaning you reach out directly to start services with us), then we will work on your behalf to get the referral from one of your providers.

Do I have to have both PT and OT services? Can I just have one or the other?

Absolutely! Many patients benefit from having both a PT and OT provider help them reach their pain goals, but it is not a requirement to have both. At any time, you may have just one or the other providing care.

Where do you treat patients? Do I have to live in Maryland?

All PT and OT patients are seen in their home or via telehealth. Our therapy providers are licensed to treat in Maryland only at this time. Alternatively, our pain management coaching clients can access coaching services from anywhere in the US and all sessions are delivered via telehealth (video or phone).

What is telehealth therapy and how does it work?

During the COVID pandemic, Medicare relaxed its guidelines on who can provide services via telehealth, and this included rehab providers. We are currently able to offer telehealth via a secure video platform for both our PT and OT sessions. Before the telehealth session starts, your therapist will email or text a link for you to use to sign on. At the time of the appointment, simply click the link, type your name into the "waiting room," and wait for your therapist to start the session!

How can I sign up for pain management coaching sessions?

Pain management coaching is a service offered to people who may need some extra support and accountability to manage their pain. This service is currently self-pay only although we do accept HSA and FSA payments*. The coaching program is comprised of 60-minute sessions once a week for eight weeks, with the option to go month to month upon completion. Clients may also communicate with their coach between sessions via email or text. Please email for more information including pricing, discounts, and payment options.
